Take for example the ongoing media circus surrounding the troubled marriages of couples Cesar Montano and Sunshine Cruz and Raymart Santiago and Claudine Barretto. Cesar and Sunshine have been married for 13 years now and people didn’t have any inkling that their supposedly perfect marriage on the verge of a break up until the rumors about Cesar’s dalliance with a starlet.
Last week, the estranged couple decided to share custody of their three daughters but that’s not the end of the story. Still, Sunshine accused Cesar of emotional, physical and sexual abuse now prolonging their courtroom rendezvous with more theatrical and surprising revelations.
Meanwhile, Claudine is also chanting the mantra. The actress said she would file charges against Raymart for his alleged violation of the Anti-Violence against Women and Their Children. Now backed by women support group, Gabriela, the 34-year-old star said she had been dealing with this ordeal since 2005. They got married in 2006 but was married in a civil ceremony in 2004.
Both Cesar and Raymart, of course, denied the accusations of their estranged espouses.
