Then we saw the publicity photos featuring the main cast members in their economically challenged clothing. Now, the daytime drama is beating the closest rival Villa Quintana. Sex, as a tested formula, sells after all.

Unlike the series Carmela and The Legal Wife, which are both going to end in a few weeks time, the Jennylyn Mercado-starrer psycho-drama is extended on air until July. It’s good to note that Rhodora X’s pilot date is Jan. 27, the same date when Carmela and The Legal Wife premiered on primetime. Who would’ve thought that it’s Jennylyn who will topple the so-called primetime queens Angel Locsin and Marian Rivera?

After a year of hiatus, the starlet is back on television. Sarah marked her return in showbiz via a sultry production number in Sunday All Stars over the weekend. And just when we thought it’s going to be a big comeback, Sarah’s performance just disappointed the viewers. This also made them think why GMA Network gave her a second chance. Not that she doesn’t deserve it, like most of the performers in the Sunday show, Sarah looks as if she had lost all the sparks of a television star.

Just so you know, the self-proclaimed Queen of All Media has just announced on national TV, using her own show of course, that’s she is in a relationship with actor-politician Herbert Bautista but appealed to the public for privacy. Reading a prepared statement, Kris said that Herbert was a gentleman as he sought for the permission of PNoy beforehand. Hmmm, this announcement sounds more of a gimmick, is 2016 too near already?
Obsession
Over at TV5, there’s a primetime show starring Marvin Agustin, Neri Naig and Bianca King. It’s a medical drama that follows the story of a young woman who, after a heartbreaking experience, undergoes a radical transformation and assumes the new identity of to make her former lover fall for her again. The premise is interesting especially if executed pretty well. It so happens that the series already ended yesterday and viewers didn’t quite see how stirring the plot really was.
