His name might not ring a bell yet, but for sure in the coming days, he’ll be the one of the more visible newbies on television. Mikael  is a 23-year-old (his cousin who is 26 years old said they’re of the same age) true blue Atenista who works as a part-time commercial and print ad model. He has appeared on several TVCs for prominent local brands. During the story conference of Amaya, GMA-7’s upcoming epic drama, Mikael was announced as one of the two leading men that will headline the big-budgeted project. He will portray the role, which according to the grapevine, previously offered to Zanjoe Marudo, Derek Ramsay and Ervic Vijandre. When we snooped around, we found out that he is related to equally handsome Spain-educated architect Jaime Daez, who owns Fully Booked and the flooring store Domus in Greenbelt 5.  Continue reading
