Twenty-year-old Bolivian heartthrob won out against 30 other hopefuls to take the Mister International crown in Taiwan’s central Taichung city on Saturday, December 19.
Juan Bruno Kettels Torrico, an engineering student, was crowned in front of an audience of 400 in a hotel in the island’s central city of Taichung after walking down the catwalk in swimwear and evening wear.
The first and second runner-ups were Hector Soria of Spain and Marcelino Gebrayel of Lebanon.
Mister International Phillippines 2009 winner Michael Manansala
Michael Manansala, a 23-year-old freelanced model from Quezon City, won the Mister International Philippines 2009 title after replacing one of the finalists two days before the final event.

A candidate must be a male citizen of the Philippines or a primary resident of the Philippines for at least 6 months immediately prior to the local pageant. He must be single, at least 5’11, 18 to 29 years old. A candidate must possess a handsome face and well-toned physique, of good health and unquestionable good moral character. He must never have participated in a previous Mister International Pageant. Interested party must prepare a valid Philippine passport (original and photocopy) for inspection.
