John Lloyd and Angelica in pursuit of happiness


ABS-CBN’s most bankable stars John Lloyd Cruz and Angelica Panganiban have kept the public speculating on their rumored romance. Intriguing photos from Angelica’s Instagram account showing a photo collage of the couple spending time together, Angelica inside a Mercedes Benz, and a gorgeous diamond ring – made the public ask what the real score is between the two big celebrities. In its November 2012 issue, YES! magazine finally ends speculations in a 9-page article saying: “YES, it’s them. They’re together.”

The exclusive story on John Lloyd and Angelica in the latest issue of YES! reveals the highs and lows of the couple’s romantic tale – from their respective break-ups to the courtship, which lead to their current relationship. Reliable sources told YES!, “Their temperament is a match… Where Shaina is a kid, Angel is a woman… JL needs somebody na sanay mag-alaga ng star [and] Angelica has had practice [because] Derek had an ego… Maganda magdala ng relasyon si JL [dahilalaga ang babaeKahit maraming tao at malaking venue, nakatutok siya sa girl. That’s flattering for any girlfriend.”

Meanwhile, celebrity parents Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez – Alcasid gave YES! magazine an exclusive tour around their posh Quezon City hilltop home. “Regine really chose this place to be our home, where we will live for the rest of our lives,” Ogie says. The couple also shares their story of friendship that blossomed into a wonderful relationship and a family with baby Nate, who is turning one this November.

Also in this issue is Manny V. Pangilinan’s fifth home in Hong Kong. The YES! team was given the chance to visit his posh apartment that faces Victoria Harbour, as well as his Hong Kong office at the Two Exchange Square building.

Ang Babae sa Septic Tank was also the big winner in the annual indie film event that took place at the Cultural Center of the Philippines Main Theater on July 24.
