A member of “It’s Showtime” boy group Hashtags drowned in Davao Occidental on Saturday.
Franco Hernandez’s death was confirmed by ABS-CBN News’ MJ Felipe via his talent agency, Cornerstone Entertainment.
He was said to have been on his way back to the coast of North Lamidan, Don Marcelino town together with his girlfriend and another member of Hashtags Saturday afternoon when a strong wave hit their motorized banca causing him to fall off.
His body was recovered but he was already unconscious. He was brought to a clinic in the neighboring town of Malita, where he was later on declared dead on arrival. Source: ABS-CBN News
