Former PBB housemate Valerie Weigmann won Miss World Philippines 2014 on October 12 at the glitzy coronation night held at the SM MoA Arena. Her winning answer to the question why she should be the next Miss World Philippines:
“I believe in empathy and compassion. We can all be advocates of change.”
The 5-foot-9 stunner represented the Province of Albay, Bicol Region and took home 12 special and major awards including Best in Swimsuit and Best in Long Gown.
Weigmann joined “Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition” in 2008, where Ejay Falcon was named winner.
After “PBB,” the 24-year-old beauty queen went on to star in TV commercials, co-host of noontime show “Eat Bulaga” and appear on the cover of the June issue of Rogue Magazine in 2013.
Weigmann was born and raised in Germany but has been living in the country for the last five years. She will represent the Philippines in the upcoming Miss World 2014 pageant in London where Megan Young will crown her successor.
