The Piolo Pascual and Toni Gonzaga-starrer romantic comedy is well on its way to attaining the highest grossing Filipino film of all time distinction, which is currently held by Vice Ganda’s Boy Girl Bakla Tomboy that raked in P429 million at the local box office.
In the same post on Instagram over the weekend, Star Cinema executive also confirmed that Starting Over Again is also the most successful Filipino film on the international box office scene. In the US, according to Los Angeles-based Hollywood news site moviecitynews.com, the film had already earned 650 thousand dollars or P29 million in the United States after being screened in 52 cinemas and theaters. Additionally, it is currently being screened in Canada, Australia and the Middle East.
According to third party tabulator Box Office Mojo International, the film was consistently number one in the box office since its release.
