Kim Chiu
The Kapamilya star offended a senior columnist at a press conference for Bride for Rent in which she is one of the lead stars. Kim was asked about the real score between her and onscreen partner, Xian Lim. She answered in a manner people in the venue found very disrespectful. Was Kim just trying to make a statement or she just showed her true color?
Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy
It’s like things get better for the Vice Ganda-starrer comedy as it has already taken the lead from My Little Bossings in terms of box office revenue according to MMFF organizer, MMDA. The movie has already breached the 400-million-peso mark, an astonishing feat for second-rate flick that follows an unimposing plot and an even less impressive acting skill of the main star.
The Legal Wife
It hasn’t hit primetime yet but people are already talking about the drama series top-billed by Angel Locsin and Jericho Rosales. Let us give credit to the creative minds that came up with funny memes taken from the trailer of the evening drama. It’s as if the network gained media hype without any sweat so who still needs publicity if the series is getting massive support from the audience that anticipates its pilot?
…are not talking about
Sharon Cuneta
Although she had used Twitter as her platform to launch rants and tirades against her detractors, posting on the social networking site turned to be a tedious experience for the TV5 heavy weight. And because she missed the old days when life was much simpler, Sharon made up her mind that Twitter is not really for her. This isn’t a bad news at all for the online hecklers, give it another week or so, she’d be back again just like what happened in so many occasions.
Bianca King
Is lack of better project really the main reason why she transferred to TV5 or she didn’t receive any offer at all? In any network, only those stars that produce good numbers in the ratings game are given priority unless they are well-connected, perhaps a relative to a head honcho. She had stayed in GMA-7 long enough, we wish her luck and we hope she finally finds her star in her new studio.
Piolo Pascual
The A-list actor expressed his disappointment over the result of MMFF awards night. Piolo believed his film Kimmy Dora was robbed big time. We say, he may have a different set of standards when it comes to filmmaking but that doesn’t mean his taste is better than those who decided on who’s going to win the awards. Imagine the dilemma of these people sifting the best in a pool of trash.
