People of the week

…are talking about

 Gerald Anderson

Gerald Anderson 2013

The online world is abuzz with the viral lewd photo of a man showing his dingdong. Caption says it’s the Kapamilya golden boy. Whether or not the mighty man in the photo is Gerald, the scandalous photograph has already generated a lot of attention good enough to make the ace actor the most talked about celebrity this week. (I have seen the photograph, and I am very positive it was photoshopped. –Ed.)

Nikki Gil and Billy Crawford

The girl used to wear a chastity ring from her mother that serves as a reminder not to give in to temptation whenever she’s alone with a boy. Suddenly the chastity ring disappeared then an announcement followed that they have called it quits. Oh well, it’s so unfortunate that their fairytale romance didn’t lead to a happy ending.

JC de Vera

Just a few days ago, the actor was playing clown in TV5’s gag show, Lokomoko U. A day after his last appearance on the show he publicly announced that he has signed an exclusive contract with ABS-CBN. Finally, JC has made a logical decision to get his luster back.

…are not talking about

Enrique Gil

Enrique Gil Shirtless 2013

Just so you know, Enrique has just been launched as a recording artist. Are the bigwigs of Kapamilya Network planning to replicate the success of Daniel Padilla with Enrique? Or are they just giving the latter the break he deserves? Either way, Enrique just promotes the idea that anyone can be a recording star no matter how awful they sound.

Bubble Gang

There’s a big change happening on GMA-7’s longest running gag show. They are introducing new faces to boost the show’s ratings. Apparently, Bubble Gang’s two main men are now Kapatid talents. Will this new change be able to compensate for the big loss? Your guess is as good as mine.

Manny Pacquiao

We don’t know if anything more needs to be said after the boxing icon announced he’s gunning for a higher elective post (read presidency). Whether or not Manny was sane when he made the announcement, one thing is sure, a political adviser wannabe will get a job soon.
