The star of GMA-7’s fantasy drama Aso ni San Roque, Princess ‘D Dog, was the star of an event that aimed to capture and develop a better companionship between man and his best friend.
The two-year-old celebrity canine, which was the most photographed pet of the day, mingled with hundreds of dogs in the very first National Geographic Channel’s Doggy Day Camp held at the Bonifacio Global City Amphitheatre over the weekend.
In the event, Princess ‘D Dog and her furry four-legged friends experienced going around the campsite where they were pampered with free massages and grooming services. A parade and a mini agility race by Urban Sports K9 highlighted the dogs’ participation in this affair. The camp also put up a photo exhibit that featured ten of the best submitted heroic dog feats across the country.
With all of those activities centered on man’s best friend, pet owners on the other hand had the chance to learn valuable tips and tricks from world-renowned dog behavior expert Cesar Millan via the special screening of the new season of Dog Whisperer. This was complemented by informational forums: proper feeding and animal nutrition by Born to be Wild host Ferdz Recio; common dog behavioral issues, administered by Pawsitive Education resident veterinarian; and responsible pet ownership, discussed by Philippine Animal Welfare Society official.
A mass pet blessing and awarding of special prizes capped the first NatGeo Doggy Day Camp.

At first Ive been watching Aso ni San Roque on the following reasons: Magagaling ang mga cast/artist (No to mention the names) in addition dyan sa bidang aso. As the story goes on, nakakabwisit ng manood. To be honest, dito sa place namin, i think 90% are watching channel 7 telebabad. But now di na dahil dyan sa story ng aso ni san roque. There are scene na sana bago nyo i air ay mai research nyo ng maige kong tama ba ang ginagawa nyo o mapapanood ng mga tao. Like 4 example ung scene ni eddie garcia at ung spo4 na pulis na pinasok ang bahay nya na not even showing a search warrant at isang spo4 p ang papasok sa bahay ng isang general at sabihing “Walang search warrant sa akin pasukin nyo ang bahay nya”. My god, sobrang kabobohan ng reasearcher ng story na to. Even my 9 yr old child sbi nya “Ano ba yan puede ba yon papasok ng bahay na walang pahintulot. Nakakabwisit na tanong but i need to explain it to my child. Sabi ko na lng sa kanya, simula bukas ayoko ng manood ka ng palabas na yan at baka pati ikaw mahawa sa kabobohan. You should be responsible sa mga dialogue at ginagawa nyo on air para di mag mukhang tanga ang mga nanonood. You are not arousing our eagerness to watch again you are giving reasons, for us to quit from watching your show. Kaya kami nanonood ng ganitong palabas para my mapulot kaming magandang aral or general knowledge , di para maging bobo sa mga general info. Sorry to say wala na po nanonood sa palabas na yan kaya i would suggest na tapusin na ng maaga. para balik channel 7 uli kami.
