Adolf Alix’s Deus Lux Mea Films has beaten the deadline of MMFF with the script of “My Prince Charming” starring Iza Calzado and Mauro Mauer. Additionally, the novice film outfit is banking on it’s historical drama “Death March” featuring Cesar Montano, Zanjoe Marudo, and Jason Abalos.

Superstar Nora Aunor, would be nominated twice for Best Actress this year via “Sa ‘Yo ang Sinapupunan” (a co-production between Brillante Mendoza and Solar Films) and El Presidente by Scenema Concept International by ER Ejercito in partnership with Viva Films, which also submitted “Ben Tumbling” starring Jericho Ejercito.

Other entries for consideration are: Unitel Pictures’ “Lola Basyang Story”; Quantum Films’ horror movie “The Strangers”, starring Julia Montes, Enrique Gil, and Enchong Dee, plus “Tuhog” top billed by Eugene Domingo; and Octoarts’ “Si Agimat, Si Enteng and Me” that feature the big screen triumvirate of Bong Revilla, Vic Sotto, and Judy Ann Santos
