The country’s most respected male pageant, Mister International Philippines (MIP) 2009, is now accepting candidates who will compete for a chance to represent the country in the prestigious MISTER INTERNATIONAL 2009 (www.mistersingapre.org) search to be held in Taiwan on November 28 2009. According to MIP President, Mike Lim, only twelve finalists will be selected this year to compete for the Philippine title to be held on October 06, 2009. A candidate must be a male citizen of the Philippines or a primary resident of the Philippines for at least 6 months immediately prior to the local pageant. He must be single, at least 5’11, 18 to 29 years old. A candidate must possess a handsome face and well-toned physique, of good health and unquestionable good moral character. He must never have participated in a previous Mister International Pageant. Interested party must prepare a valid Philippine passport (original and photocopy) for inspection.
